| SAYVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT RECRUITMENT DRIVE 2014 CONTINUES! WE’RE LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD NEIGHBORS! BECOME A SAYVILLE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER or CADET!
On Sunday, April 27th, 2014, the Sayville Fire Department conducted its Annual Recruitment Open House 2014 by opening its’ doors to our neighbors interested in serving their community as a proud Sayville Firefighter. Officers and members were on-hand to provide all information regarding membership and to give the guided tour of the apparatus and firehouse while answering all questions to prospective candidates. Training evolutions were taking place and provided an opportunity for the community to observe and meet face to face with current members of the department.
Additionally, representatives of the Sayville Fire Department CADETS Program were available for the younger members of the community between the ages of 12-17 years seeking information on “How to join?”
