| Members of the Sayville Fire Department invite you to attend Sayville's 146th Memorial Day Parade, which kicks off on Memorial Day at 9AM. Once again, marchers from military groups, area Fire Departments and various community organizations will proudly stroll or ride down Main Street between Handsome Avenue and Foster Avenue. Sayville High School and Middle School Band members will also entertain parade-goers as they march down Main Street while performing their music.
Come on out and line up along Main Street and support our heroes. If you are a veteran, feel free to join the VFW and American Legion at the beginning of the parade on Handsome Avenue.
Following the parade, a memorial service honoring our veterans is held at Sparrow Park, and the Sayville Fire Department follows up with their own memorial service honoring their departed members on the front lawn of their Headquarters.
