Remember. Honor. Never Forget.
On Friday, September 11th at 7:00 PM at The Common Ground at Rotary Park in Sayville, the Sayville Fire Department joined with members of our community to come together to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
The Sayville Fire Department was honored to participate in this solemn ceremony, standing shoulder to shoulder to remember the thousands of innocent lives lost that day, the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who later lost their lives to 9/11-related illnesses.
Together, we paused to reflect on the events of 9/11 and honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of so many.
We Remember the Fallen.
We Honor the Heroes.
We Stand With the Families.
We Will Never Forget.
Twenty-five years later, their names, their courage, and their sacrifice continue to live on.
