The Sayville firefighters continued their commitment to excellence by training in RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) Operations—a critical function dedicated to rescuing a fellow firefighter in distress during an emergency.

Ongoing training like this ensures our members are always prepared, always improving, and always ready to serve when it matters most. This session focused on specialized rescue air packs, rope operations, and firefighter packaging which are essential life-saving skills where every second counts.
